To all chairpersons
post on : 2024.09.10
Greetings, everyone.
Two more weeks to go.
You will receive an email from the committee program team confirming the schedule, etc.
Thank you for your cooperation in adjusting the schedule.
Please note the following points for the role of chair;
1. Please make arrangements with the presenter in advance. Some of these young researchers are presenting at an academic conference for the first time. Please try to communicate in advance to relieve any tension.
2. Not all presentation venues are equipped with all the equipment you may think. In particular, each presenter may bring their own PC equipment, or the moderator may use their own PC. We will provide the projector, HDMI cable, MacBook joint, extension cord, and screen.
3. There are some venues where Wifi is difficult to connect or not available at all, so please keep this in mind when taking part in the session.
4. Please respond flexibly to the situation, asking for the cooperation from participants as appropriate to arrange the venue, such as equipment, venue space settings, table and chair placement, etc.
5. Regarding Q&A after the presentations, you can allocate time for each presenter or all together after all presenters. Either pattern is fine, so please choose the most appropriate style at the chairperson’s discretion.
6. As a general rule, presentation time is 20 minutes per person. Please be punctual.
7. Student assistants are on standby at each venue to help set up the venue, adjust equipment, and liaise with the executive committee headquarters. If we have any notifications or urgent requests, we will notify you via the assistant each time, so please respond flexibly.
8. If you are a member of the association, please be sure to pay the participation fee from Peatix Online Ticket↓.
Full-time employee ¥2999, Part-time or non-regular employee/student ¥1499.
The chair will be in charge of the venue during the session. In the event of an unexpected situation such as an earthquake or fire, please remain calm and strive to ensure the safety of everyone attending the venue.
Thank you in advance, for your continued support over the two days.
